Privacy Policy

Last updated . This page describes what happens to the text you paste and what the site does with the small amount of information any web server necessarily sees.

In short

  • Your text is never uploaded. Conversion happens inside your browser.
  • No account, no signup, no character limit.
  • This site sets no cookies. The converter stores nothing in your browser; the analytics script keeps one random identifier in local storage — see Analytics.
  • The only third-party code is analytics and, when live, advertising. Analytics is cookieless and described in Analytics. Ads may be served by an outside advertising network (not by us directly) and may use cookies — details in Advertising and cookies.

Your text is never uploaded

The converter is a static page. The engine is JavaScript that downloads once and then runs locally, and there is no conversion endpoint on any server to send text to. This is worth verifying rather than believing: open your browser’s developer tools, go to the Network tab, and convert something. No request carries your text. The same check works by reading the page source and confirming there is nothing to submit to.

Because the text never leaves your device, it cannot appear in logs, backups or analytics — not even accidentally.

What this site itself stores

For the converter: nothing. It does not set cookies, does not write to localStorage or sessionStorage, does not use IndexedDB, and does not fingerprint your device. Your direction setting and preview toggle live in memory for the duration of the visit only; reloading the page resets them.

One exception, and it belongs to the analytics script rather than to the converter: it writes a single random value to your browser’s localStorage under the key rybbit-visitor-id. It is not a cookie, it holds nothing derived from you or from your text, and clearing site data removes it. The converter works the same with or without it.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served as static files through Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes ordinary request metadata — IP address, user agent, timestamp and the URL requested — in order to deliver the page and protect against abuse. We do not use that information to identify you, and it cannot contain your text, because your text is never sent. See the Cloudflare privacy policy for how it handles that data.

Advertising and cookies

This site may be supported by advertising. Ads are not placed by us directly: they are served through one or more third-party advertising networks, which decide which ad you see. The following applies whenever advertising is shown here.

  • Advertising networks set their own cookies and similar identifiers. They may use cookies, web beacons or device identifiers to serve, cap and measure ads. Those cookies are set and read by the network, not by this site, and we have no access to the data they collect.
  • They may use what you have viewed elsewhere. A network may use cookies to show you ads based on your prior visits to this site or to other websites. That is commonly called interest-based or personalised advertising.
  • You can opt out of interest-based advertising. Industry-wide opt-out pages cover most networks: Digital Advertising Alliance, Network Advertising Initiative and, for the EEA and the UK, Your Online Choices. If Google is among the networks serving ads here, its own controls are at Google Ads Settings. Blocking third-party cookies in your browser also stops most of this.
  • Where consent is required, it is asked for first. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, personalised advertising cookies are used only after you give consent through a consent management platform shown on your first visit. Refusing is a valid choice and does not restrict the converter.
  • Which networks are in use. Each network publishes its own privacy policy and cookie list, and those terms — not this page — govern the data it collects. The networks currently in use are named on this page while advertising is live.

One thing does not change whatever network is used: advertising never receives the text you paste, because that text is never transmitted from your device at all.

Fonts

The SutonnyMJ font preview does not download anything. The page only checks, locally, whether a copy of the font is already installed on your device, and uses it if so. No font file is ever requested from this site or from a third party, and no commercial font is redistributed here.

Analytics

We use Rybbit, an open-source, cookieless analytics tool, to see which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. It runs on our own instance at rybbit.veta.top. It sets no cookies and does not track you across other websites.

For each page view, the script sends:

  • the page path, the page title and any query string in the address;
  • the referring page, if your browser sends one;
  • your browser’s language and screen size.

It also records a click on a link that leads away from this site, so we can tell which references people look for next. That record holds the link’s address and its visible text — both come from the page, not from you.

As with any web request, the analytics server also sees the IP address and the user-agent string your browser sends — that is how it estimates a country and a browser or device type. It cannot see your text. The analytics data has no field for what you type or paste, we have switched session recording off on our side, and advertising networks never receive it either, because it is never transmitted from your device.

The script is added to the page only when the site is built with an analytics site ID configured; without one, no analytics code is served at all. Blocking it — with a content blocker or your browser’s tracking protection — leaves the converter completely unaffected, because conversion runs entirely in your browser.

Children

This site is a text utility and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Your choices

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is no stored profile to access, correct, export or delete. For advertising specifically, you control cookies through your browser settings, through the opt-out links above, and — where required — through the consent message shown before advertising cookies are set. Blocking advertising cookies does not affect the converter, which works entirely offline once the page has loaded.

Analytics is no different. It is cookieless, it cannot see your text, and it holds no profile of you to request or delete. Blocking the analytics script — or clearing the rybbit-visitor-id value from local storage — costs you nothing: the converter keeps working.

Changes to this policy

If what the site does changes — for example if a new analytics tool or an additional ad network is added — this page will be updated and the date at the top changed before that change takes effect.
